New assignment for Korf Vis BV’s new business premises

August 28th, 2018: Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has received the order to install the electrical system for the new business premises of fish processing company Korf Vis on Urk. Piet Brouwer will provide a high-voltage substation for the power supplied from the grid operator, which will feed a 1000 kVA transformer – to be supplied and installed by Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek – via a high-voltage cable.

A dry, virtually maintenance-free, fireproof transformer without oil was chosen for this application. The transformer will be placed close to the largest consumer – the cooling system – and positioned centrally in the building.  This will allow short cables to be used, minimising energy losses. Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology will also fit the electrical systems for the lighting and the connection points for equipment in the offices and processing rooms.
