Originally built by Vitters Shipyard, the 44-metre sailyacht Catalina is currently undergoing a major refit at the Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth (UK). The Alarm Monitoring & Control System also needed replacing and Pendennis selected Marble Automation, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology’s sister company, as the best party to perform this task due to its many years of experience and expertise in the development of custom AMC systems.
In addition to the alarm system, the complete supply package included a read-out of the engine, generator and shore voltage data. Marble Automation is also expanding the system with additional screens, pages and functionalities. This includes moving the navigation lights to a separate page and monitoring them via the BV-approved Marble product ‘MS225 Navigation Light Control’.
A warm welcome is assured if you visit Marble Automation and Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology during METSTRADE at stand 10.211.
