Following previous successful overhauls and switchboard refits on Seine, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has again been commissioned to service this trailing suction hopper dredger. Our activities will include upgrading and maintenance of the engine room in the forward section of the ship.
All the hydraulic panels will be reviewed and cleaned, and parts replaced where necessary. At the same time, new starter panels will be designed, built and installed onboard so that two SILT degassing pumps can be added. Last but not least, the vessel will undergo a complete health check to ensure that she is ready for the upcoming dredging works in Egypt.
