To tap into the upcoming market in Ivory Coast, one of the world’s largest beer brewers built a brand-new brewery with a capacity of 1.6 million hectolitres. Having successfully partnered with the brewery on various other projects, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology was asked to participate.
Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology supplied a fully automated power plant of 4 MVA consisting of two 2MVA generator sets, all fuel and cooling circuits, two step-up transformers and an MV distributor. The power plant features fully automatic synchronisation with intelligent power management to ensure energy is produced in the most efficient way. In addition, we supplied and installed the complete medium voltage distribution for the brewery, as well as all step-down transformers and low voltage distribution. All turnkey, as you would expect.
Despite the short build times and tight planning of the project, the Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology crew managed to deliver the project successfully.
