The 46M was built in Vicem’s eco-conscious factory in Antalya, Turkey, using composite materials and resin-infused-sandwich techniques. This construction process lends the boat a high strength-to-weight ratio that helps her remain relatively fuel efficient, light, and fast while also being stout enough to handle rough seas. And that’s not just talk. According to the builder, the Vulcan has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots and can top out at 25 knots. This considerable swiftness is made possible by her low weight, as well as twin engines that boast 7,300 horsepower total and power along with authority.
The 46M can easily be used as a charter boat or for personal use, since her onboard accouterments are plush to say the least. The full-beam master suite is on the main deck and includes both an office and a gym, should you set your mind to either working or working out. There’s also a Jacuzzi and a full-beam head. Not bad digs, huh?
The boat features six more guest cabins, as well as a sunroof-covered atrium that extends from the sun deck down to the lower deck, which keeps the vessel awash with natural light.
A relatively shallow draft ensures that the boat can handle skinny Florida and Bahamian waters, too. Which means sometime soon you might come face to face with this Turkish delight.
