Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has in the past delivered a new MV/LV distribution to the beer brewery Baru in Panama. A new containerised 1,000 kVA emergency power generator was also installed. As the customer was very satisfied with the quality and flexibility of Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology’s implementation of these projects, they called on us again.
Baru urgently needed an expansion of its existing distribution for a new production line that was being installed. We were commissioned to supply a custom-built containerised substation containing a medium-voltage distribution system and 1,000 kVA step-down transformer. In addition, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology will deliver a class 4A low-voltage distributor that will be placed nearby in the factory. The brief called for the whole system to be delivered as a turnkey solution.
