Jan Bakker worked for a large trader in deep-frozen fish products before starting at Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology. Missing working with his hands, when a good friend told Jan about PBE he knew this was the path for him. Jan has since been at Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology for two years training as an electrotechnical systems technician on various maritime and yachtbuilding projects. He is currently busy at Royal Bodewes shipyard in Hoogezand on the second coaster of a series of seven for which Piet Brouwer is responsible for the design, realisation and installation of the electrical systems.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jan Bakker worked for a large trader in deep-frozen fish products before starting at Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology. Missing working with his hands, when a good friend told Jan about PBE he knew this was the path for him. Jan has since been at Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology for two years training as an electrotechnical systems technician on various maritime and yachtbuilding projects. He is currently busy at Royal Bodewes shipyard in Hoogezand on the second coaster of a series of seven for which Piet Brouwer is responsible for the design, realisation and installation of the electrical systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three words Jan most associates with Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology are \u201cinnovative, progressive and challenging\u201d. He really enjoys the level of professionalism in all projects and tasks as well as the underlying knowledge found at the company. In addition, Jan is highly appreciative of the atmosphere between colleagues: \u201cI am part of a very close-knit team and we always join forces to get things done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project that Jan found most impressive to date involved hybrid aquaculture vessels at Scheepswerf Nauplius<\/a> in Groningen. \u201cWe built an enormous installation on a very small workboat.\u201d Jan really enjoys working at Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology. \u201cI do something different and face fresh and exciting challenges every day. In the future I hope to become a service engineer so that I continue to see and experience new things daily and never stop learning. That\u2019s what I really enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
