Walking through the service port in Urk it\u2019s impossible to miss the giant and strikingly blue cargo vessel. Hartman Seatrade\u2019s Polar Rock 19<\/em>, built by Neptune Shipyards, has been attracting a hive of activity since arriving in the port in late August. Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology is responsible for the design and installation of the entire electrical installation: from making the various distribution boxes for the panels to installing cables and commissioning the various systems. A unique feature of the vessel are the two wings on the stern designed to create more deck space. These enable Polar Rock 19<\/em> to transport larger amounts of cargo while maintaining the same fuel consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
