The partnership between two no-nonsense companies matches their sound reputations in the maritime sector with the growing demand for electric propulsion systems for vessels.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Electrification is a major trend in the shipbuilding sector with traditional propulsion increasingly being replaced by electric technologies. The latter\u2019s compact size has major benefits for installation space while the increased efficiency at partial loads and flexibility in terms of fuel choice make electric propulsion an attractive option which Piet BrouwerElectrotechnology<strong> <\/strong>and Randax clients are choosing more frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Common DC-bus systems combined with batteries and permanent magnet motors provide a technically advanced, flexible solution with the best specifications in terms of space, weight and efficiency. Frequency drives and propulsion controls are also available and clients can choose between installing the system themselves or leaving the entire installation process to Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ultimate aim of the partnership between Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology<strong> <\/strong>and Randax is to combine the knowledge and expertise from both fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The synthesis of Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology&#8217;s maritime knowhow and Randax&#8217;s state-of-the-art PM motor designs offer the best possible propulsion set-up.
