An example of this is the recent order &nbsp;for the replacement of the monitoring &amp; alarm system onboard the 43-&shy;&#8208;metre sailing yacht Espiritu del Xarey based in Newport (USA).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pietbrouwer.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/Piet_Brouwer_electrotechnology_Refit_Espiritu_del_Xarey_02.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\">Espiritu del Xarey was completed in 2002 by Vitters Shipyard as Whirlaway. She was initially equipped with a state-&shy;&#8208;of-&shy;&#8208;the-&shy;&#8208;art monitoring and alarm system supplied by Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology in close cooperation with its subsidiary Marble Automation. The yacht has now sailed the oceans for more than ten years, and the installed systems have functioned efficiently and smoothly.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pietbrouwer.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/Piet_Brouwer_electrotechnology_Refit_Espiritu_del_Xarey_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\">This summer Espiritu del Xarey will enjoy a thorough refit, including an upgrade to the electrical systems. The yacht will be fitted with the latest technology and the best possible systems: For instance, the alarm, monitoring and sail control systems will be equipped with the latest PLCs and touchscreens. In this way the owners will ensure a modern, safe and reliable electrical system for their crew during the coming years.
