28 Augustus, 2019: Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology delivers E-installation for new Korf Vis premises
Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has successfully installed the electrical system for the new business premises of fish processing company Korf Vis on Urk. We provided a high-voltage substation for the power supplied from the grid operator, which feeds a 1000 kVA transformer –supplied and installed by Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology – via a high-voltage cable.
A dry, virtually maintenance-free, fireproof transformer without oil was chosen for this application. The transformer has been placed close to the largest consumer – the cooling system – and positioned centrally in the building. This allows the use of short cables, minimising energy losses. Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology also fitted the electrical systems for the lighting and the connection points for equipment in the offices and processing rooms.
