For the renovation of the Coastal Legacy (formerly Zwaardvis), Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek renewed and expanded the entire electrical installation for the new accommodation and propulsion system.
The Coastal Legacy was renovated in 2025 at Werft, for Acta Jifmar, which will use the ship as a standby vessel.
Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek’s work included:
- Renewal of the electrical installation for the new accommodation.
- Replacement and expansion of the fire alarm system.
- Installation of controls, readouts, alarms, and controls for two new main engines.
- Modification of the navcom installation in collaboration with Navcom360.
- Installation of controls for new pumps and fans.
- Realization of additional alarms and alarm extensions.
- Implementation of various modifications for class.
- Various minor electrical work.
- Performance of a megger test.
