MV IANA – Sustainable electrical engineering for the future of shipping
Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek supplied a high-quality electrical installation for the MV IANA, the first ship in the innovative SALMO series. This diesel-electric dry cargo ship was built by Royal T Shipyards.
With a length of 87 meters and a deadweight tonnage of over 5,000 DWT, the IANA is designed for maximum efficiency and minimum emissions. The ship complies with the most stringent IMO EEDI phase 3 standards and emits over 30% less CO₂ than required.
Thanks to our expertise in maritime electrical engineering, Piet Brouwer contributes to a sustainable and reliable future for shipping.
