MV SUEVE – Electrical engineering for sustainable short sea shipping
Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek supplied an advanced electrical installation for the MV SUEVE, the second ship in the innovative SALMO series. This diesel-electric dry cargo ship was built by Royal T Shipyards. With a length of 87 meters and a loading capacity of over 5,900 m³, the MV SUEVE is designed for efficient transport and low emissions. Thanks to smart energy management solutions and reliable electrical systems, the ship contributes to a more sustainable future for the short sea sector. The christening took place in the port of Gijón, Spain.
