Istros is a classic beauty from 1954 which has been entirely restored to her former glory and more by the Feadship yard in Makkum. This eco-friendly 42-metre superyacht was comprehensively refitted to be fully future-compatible and won ‘Best Rebuild’ at the BOAT International World Superyacht Awards in September 2021. The award of such a prestigious prize was also a great moment for the Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology team which was responsible for the entire electrical system on the new Istros.
