Piet Brouwer Power Solutions completed a turnkey installation for the new malting plant of Belgian company Boortmalt NV in 2020/2021. This installation includes an emergency power supply consisting of two generator sets, each with a capacity of 2000 kVA, and a fully containerized power distribution system with a 10 MVA oil transformer.
During 2025, Piet Brouwer Power Solutions realized the complete power supply for an 8.1 MW electric boiler.
This emission-free E-boiler replaces the old diesel boiler and makes it possible to produce steam for the production processes in an efficient and sustainable manner.
To ensure reliable integration, the existing medium-voltage system was renewed and new medium-voltage cables were installed.
Thanks to close cooperation with local contractors, the boiler supplier, and the malting plant’s technical team, the installation was successfully completed in the summer of 2025.
