In 2023, Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek completed the electrical installation for the expansion of the Visscher Seafood fish processing plant in Urk.
Because network operator Liander was unable to provide sufficient power immediately, the expansion was initially powered temporarily by generators. Once the additional power became available, the preparations were converted into a permanent medium-voltage connection and the installation was successfully completed.
Work carried out
- Coordination with network operator Liander for the new connection and the removal of the existing connection.
- Supply and installation of a prefabricated purchasing station in which Liander has housed its purchasing installation.
- Supply and installation of a distribution transformer (10,500V >> 400V) in the attic near the engine room.
- Modification of the main distribution box so that it is also powered from the transformer.
- Supply and installation of high- and low-voltage cabling.
